Reader with CD-ROM / audio CD

Beauty's father steals a rose from someone else's garden for his beautiful daughter. The owner of the garden, a terrible beast to look at, is very upset about this. In return for the injustice that has arisen, the monster demands that Beauty move into his castle. With a heavy heart, Beauty leaves her family and faces her fate at the castle. But she soon realizes that the beast is unsightly, but very lovable.

The new Helbling Young Readers series is aimed at children of primary school age and offers engaging reading material, a multimedia CD-ROM and a magnificent picture book in one. Specially designed for early English lessons, the texts are carefully divided into 5 levels of difficulty, which are based on the Cambridge Young Learners English Tests.

The stories are specially written for young English learners. Frequent and important words were given special consideration in order to encourage natural and fluent expression from the start.
