Oscar Fingal O'Fflahertie Wills Wilde, most commonly known simply as Oscar Wilde, was an Irish poet and writer. His works analysing the complexities of life, through both an immature arrogance and, later in life, a sorrowful introspection. 
Though he famously said “All art is quite useless”, it never stopped him from creating. He saw art as an expression of beauty, both in generating his own beauty and describing the beauty he saw around him.
